Highlights of CISF Exam 2024
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit:
- Constable (GD): 18 to 25 years (Relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms)
- Sub Inspector (Exe): 21 to 25 years (Relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms)
Educational Qualification:
- Constable (GD): 10th pass from a recognized board.
- Sub Inspector (Exe): Graduate degree from a recognized university.
Physical Standards:
- Constable (GD):
- Height: 165 cm (Relaxation for reserved categories)
- Chest: 80 cm (85 cm with expansion)
- Weight: Proportionate to height
- Sub Inspector (Exe):
- Height: 165 cm (Relaxation for reserved categories)
- Chest: 84 cm (89 cm with expansion)
- Weight: Proportionate to height
Medical Standards: Candidates must be medically fit as per the standards prescribed by the CISF.
Exam Pattern
Constable (GD)

Computer Based Exam (CBT):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Marks: 100

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Race: 1600 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Long Jump: 3.65 meters
- High Jump: 1.2 meters
- Shot Put: 4.5 kg (for men), 3 kg (for women)
