The Preliminary Examination for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in Bharat Electronics Limited (Bel) is scheduled to be held on 20th February 2024. The syllabus for the exam is as follows:
- Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Probability.
- Physics: Mechanics, Electromagnetics, Optics, Heat and Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics.
- Chemistry: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- English: Comprehension, Grammar, and Vocabulary.
- General Knowledge: Current Affairs, HISTORY, Geography, Polity, Economics, and Science.
The exam will be of objective type and will consist of 100 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
The minimum qualifying marks for the exam are 40% for General/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination will be called for the Main Examination.
The Main Examination will consist of two papers, each of 200 marks. The first paper will be of General Aptitude and the second paper will be of Engineering Aptitude. The duration of the Main Examination will be 3 hours.
The minimum qualifying marks for the Main Examination are 50% for General/OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will be called for the Interview.
The Interview will be of 100 marks. The interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s Personality, Communication skills, and technical knowledge.
The final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview.
