The State Public Service Commission (Tspsc) has released the notification for the Panchayat Secretary Exam 2024. The exam will be held on February 25, 2024. The application process has already started and will end on January 31, 2024.
The Panchayat Secretary is a Class I Gazetted Officer in the State of Telangana. The post is responsible for the overall administration of the Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs) in the State. The Panchayat Secretary is also the Secretary of the Zilla Parishad and the Mandal Parishad.
The Panchayat Secretary Exam is a competitive exam conducted by the TSPSC for the recruitment of Panchayat Secretaries in the State of Telangana. The exam is held once in a year. The exam is divided into two parts: a written test and an interview.
The written test is of 200 marks and is held for a duration of two hours. The paper consists of two sections: General Studies and Optional Subject. The candidates who are shortlisted for the interview will be called for the interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test and the interview.
