Notification for tnpsc combined engineering services Exam 2024

The Nadu Public Service Commission (Tnpsc) has released the notification for the Combined Engineering Services Examination 2024. The exam will be held on February 25, 2024.

The exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to the various engineering services posts in the state of Tamil Nadu. The exam is open to candidates who have passed the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from a recognized university.

The exam will consist of two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be of 200 marks and will be of two hours duration. Paper II will be of 300 marks and will be of three hours duration.

The syllabus for the exam will be based on the following subjects:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Engineering Mechanics
  • Engineering Mathematics
  • Engineering Drawing
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Information Technology

The exam will be conducted in two shifts, morning and evening. The morning shift will start at 9:30 am and the evening shift will start at 2:30 pm.

The exam will be held at various centers across the state of Tamil Nadu. The list of centers will be available on the TNPSC website.

The admit cards for the exam will be issued online on the TNPSC website. The admit cards will be available from January 15, 2024.

The results of the exam will be announced on the TNPSC website. The results will be available from April 15, 2024.

The candidates who qualify in the exam will be called for the interview. The interview will be conducted by the TNPSC. The interview will be held at the TNPSC headquarters in Chennai.

The final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the exam and the interview.

The last date for applying for the exam is December 31, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 100 for General candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST candidates.
