Exam Pattern of ssb constable Exam 2024

The Selection Process for the post of Constable in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The exam is conducted twice a year in the month of February and August. The exam pattern for the SSC Constable Exam 2024 is as follows:

Physical Efficiency test (PET)

  • 200 meters run (120 seconds)
  • 800 meters run (3 minutes)
  • 1.6 kilometers run (10 minutes)
  • Long jump (4.5 meters)
  • High jump (1.2 meters)
  • Pull-ups (10 times)
  • 90 degree push-ups (30 times)

Medical Examination

The medical examination is a qualifying test that is conducted for all candidates who have qualified in the PET. The medical examination consists of the following tests:
