Mains Syllabus of rsmssb ldc Exam 2024

The Rajasthan Subordinate Ministerial Service Selection Board (Rsmssb) conducts the LDCE exam for the recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerks (LDCs) in various government departments in Rajasthan. The exam is a two-stage process, with the first stage being a written test and the second stage being an interview.

The syllabus for the RSMSSB LDCE exam is as follows:

The written test is of 100 marks and is held for a duration of 2 hours. The paper is divided into four sections, each of 25 marks: General Studies, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.

The interview is of 25 marks and is held for a duration of 15 minutes. The interview is conducted by a panel of three members. The panel will ask questions on the candidate’s academic background, work experience, general knowledge, and Personality.

The minimum qualifying marks for the written test are 40% for General Category candidates and 35% for EWS, OBC, SC, and ST candidates. The minimum qualifying marks for the interview are 25% for all categories.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test and the interview. The candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called for document verification.

The documents that need to be verified at the time of document verification are:

  • Original and self-attested copy of the Matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)
  • Original and self-attested copy of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
  • Original and self-attested copy of the Bachelor’s degree certificate
  • Original and self-attested copy of the caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Original and self-attested copy of the EWS certificate (if applicable)
  • Original and self-attested copy of the OBC certificate (if applicable)
  • Original and self-attested copy of the SC certificate (if applicable)
  • Original and self-attested copy of the ST certificate (if applicable)
  • Two passport size photographs

The candidates who are successful in the document verification will be called for medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted by a panel of doctors appointed by the RSMSSB. The candidates who are declared fit in the medical examination will be issued the appointment letter.

The pay scale for the post of LDC in the Rajasthan government is as follows:

  • Pay Band: 14,000-21,900
  • Grade Pay: 4,200
  • Total Pay: 18,200

The LDCs are entitled to the following allowances:

  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • Transport Allowance (TA)
  • Medical Allowance (MA)
  • Conveyance Allowance (CA)
  • Leave Travel Allowance (LTA)

The LDCs are also entitled to the following benefits:

  • Provident Fund (PF)
  • Employees’ State Insurance (ESI)
  • Gratuity
  • Medical Insurance
  • Retirement Benefits

The LDCs are also eligible for promotion to the post of Senior Clerk after five years of service. The pay scale for the post of Senior Clerk is as follows:

  • Pay Band: 19,900-29,200
  • Grade Pay: 4,600
  • Total Pay: 24,500

The Senior Clerks are entitled to the same allowances and benefits as the LDCs. They are also eligible for promotion to the post of Assistant Section Officer after ten years of service. The pay scale for the post of Assistant Section Officer is as follows:

  • Pay Band: 29,200-39,100
  • Grade Pay: 5,400
  • Total Pay: 34,600

The Assistant Section Officers are entitled to the same allowances and benefits as the LDCs and Senior Clerks. They are also eligible for promotion to the post of Section Officer after fifteen years of service. The pay scale for the post of Section Officer is as follows:
