The Central Industrial Security Force (https://exam.pscnotes.com/CISF“>CISF) is a paramilitary force of India that is responsible for providing security to industrial establishments, , and other important installations. The Cisf Ldce exam is conducted every year to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
The selection process for the CISF LDCE exam is as follows:

Written Examination: The first stage of the selection process is the written examination. The written examination is objective in nature and consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is of 100 marks and Paper II is of 200 marks. The duration of the written examination is 2 hours 30 minutes.

Physical Efficiency test (PET): The candidates who qualify in the written examination are called for the PET. The PET consists of three events: 100 meters run, 1000 meters run, and long jump. The qualifying standards for the PET are as follows:

100 meters run: 12 seconds for male candidates and 13 seconds for female candidates
- 1000 meters run: 3 minutes 45 seconds for male candidates and 4 minutes 15 seconds for female candidates

Long jump: 4.5 meters for male candidates and 4 meters for female candidates

Medical Examination: The candidates who qualify in the PET are called for the medical examination. The medical examination is conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidates. The candidates who are declared fit in the medical examination are called for the interview.

Interview: The interview is the final stage of the selection process. The interview is conducted by a panel of officers. The interview is to assess the Personality, intelligence, and Communication skills of the candidates.
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination, PET, and interview. The candidates who are selected in the final merit list are called for the training. The training period is of 18 months. After the completion of the training, the candidates are posted to various units of the CISF.

The Written Examination will be of objective type and will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination will be held in the month of May 2024 and the Main Examination will be held in the month of June 2024.
The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be of 100 marks and will be of General Intelligence and Reasoning. Paper II will be of 100 marks and will be of General Knowledge.
The Main Examination will consist of four papers: Paper I, Paper II, Paper III and Paper IV. Paper I will be of 200 marks and will be of General Studies. Paper II will be of 200 marks and will be of English. Paper III will be of 200 marks and will be of Mathematics. Paper IV will be of 200 marks and will be of Physics and Chemistry.
The PET will consist of 1000 meters run, 100 meters race, long jump and high jump. The candidates will have to qualify in all the events of the PET to be eligible for the Medical Examination.
The Medical Examination will be conducted by a Board of Medical Officers appointed by the Central Industrial Security Force. The candidates will have to qualify in the Medical Examination to be eligible for the Interview.
The Interview will be conducted by a Board of Interviewers appointed by the Central Industrial Security Force. The candidates will have to qualify in the Interview to be selected for the post of CISF LDCE.
The final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Examination, PET, Medical Examination and Interview.
