Dhami inaugurated the Sampark ‘Smart Schools,Smart Blocks’ programme at a function organised in Champawat. He distributed TV sets, Maths and English kits to schools in Champavat block, provided by Sampark Foundation.
The goal of the programme is to improve Learning outcomes for 5,484 children by training 274 teachers in 137 schools of Champavat block. After 100 days of successful implementation, the programme will be extended to Khrishu block of Pauri district, in a time-bound manner, he added. With the help of this programme, government schools will be able to compete with private ones, Dhami said.
The programme will focus on using the learning Resources to make classroom learning joyful for the students. The Sampark team will also ensure development of capabilities of the teachers to make TEACHING systematic and easy, said Vineet Nayar, chairman of Sampark.
