To promote solar power, the Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) is asking domestic and other consumers to set up roof top grid connected solar plants based on their contract load with the electricity department.

The installation will be based on the regulations issued by the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC). The domestic consumers, will get a waiver of

20-40 percent of the installation cost.

The domestic consumer can install the grid connection solar Plants of 1 to 10 kW capacity.
