Two kittens of small Indian Civets have been rescued from the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

Small Indian civets are recognized to happen in south and central China, Hong Kong, India, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

They are recorded in semi-evergreen and deciduous

forest, combined deciduous forest, bamboo forest, scrubby areas, grasslands and riverine habitat.

The state government has offered to fund the design and rollout of a unique app-based service for the taxi operators, which they have refused to accept. The taxi operators are also reluctant to install digital fare meters.

Maharashtra’s state government launched the “Maharashtra Mission Oxygen.” The state’s regular output will be increased to 3,000 tonnes under the mission. The mission has been given Rs 200 crores by the state government. It will provide special benefits to private players who agree to serve as oxygen generation units.

In the next six months, a short-term target of 2,300 metric tonnes per day will be reached. The mission’s expense is expected to be RS 1,100 crores.

Private companies are also expected to participate in the mission.

Each division must build at least one new plant as part of the mission.

The registration fee, stamp

duty, electricity duty, and GST will all be waived by the mission.

In backward Vidarbha and Marathwada, about 150 percent GST will be waived, while the rest of the state will pay 100 percent.

Haryana has buffer stock of 20 MT oxygen: Govt

A day after it claimed to have started door-to-door supply of medicaloxygenforCovidpatients in Home isolation,Haryanagovernment, on Sunday, said the state has a buffer stock of10MToxygen for emergency use as the state stock has reached 262MT. The buffer stock has now gone up to 20MT and deputy commissioners have been directed to create 20 to 50bedsin their civil hospitals with provision of Oxygen.

Punjab: Rs 2.7 crore action plan approved to promote fish farming in Patiala

To promote fish farming inPatialadistrict, an action plan of Rs.2.7 crore has been approved for the year 2021-22.

Additional deputy commissioner (Development) Preeti Yadav, who chaired a district-level meeting on Tuesday, said that funds for the action plan have been allocated.

Yadav allocated Rs 84 lakh for construction of new ponds, Rs 48 lakh for first year fertilizer feed, Rs 7.50 lakh for re-circulatory aquaculture system, Rs 60 lakh for biofloc and Rs 7.50 lakh for motorbikes with ice boxes under the action plan.

She said that the main objective of these projects were to promote fish farming in Patiala district by adopting it as a mean of livelihood and to increase the income of the farmers.

Himachal Pradesh records GST collection of 429 crore in April 2021

Chief minister Jai RamThakursaid the department registered its highest ever GST collection of Rs 429 crore in April 2021. GST collection was recorded at Rs 43 crore and Rs 333 crores in April 2020 and April 2019 respectively. The CM said the state excise departement also registered revenue collection of

Rs 142 crore in April 2021 as against Rs 8 crore and Rs 155 crore in April 2020 and April 2019 respectively.

He said thestate excise and departmenthas collected revenue of Rs 642 crore in April this year as against Rs 76 crore collected during the corresponding period last year.
The department has registered a Growth of 9 percent in April 2021 in comparison to April 2019 (Rs 590 crores).

Thakur said that the initiative of the department, especially regular interaction with taxpayers and recognising their contribution towards thestate economy in pandemic periodis leading to better and timely compliance by taxpayers.

Ukhand police to set up plasma banks in each district

TheUttarakhandpolice has announced to set up plasma banks in each district of the state. The personnel of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and the Indian Reserve Battalions (IRB) who have recuperated from Covid-19 will also donate their plasma for these banks.

extra Source Of Income for `gaushalas’ as is keen to make them self-reliant.

Gaushala’ products were used for plantation for the first time, on a large scale, last year. State nurseries had prepared `jeevamrut’ on their own. This time the move is being repeated.

There are about 1,700 nurseries in the state and last year, forest department had raised 44cr saplings to plant 25cr trees in a day. This time, nurseries may raise a higher number of saplings.

Bihar: Now, buy fresh vegetables from cooperative departments portal

The state cooperative department on Thursday launched a web portal www.tarkaarimart.in to supply locally grown fresh vegetables to the residents of the state capital and East Champaran district. Launching the webportal, cooperative department secretary Vandana Preyasi said the project was preponed to discourage people visiting vegetable markets putting their lives at risk.

The project aimed at providing fair price of their produce to the farmers and vegetables to the consumers at a reasonable rate compared to the open vegetable markets. It will also fulfill the much ambitious project Har thaali mein Bihari Tarkari, (vegetable grown in Bihar in each platter in the country)” she added.

Around 12,000 vegetable growers of Patna, Vaishali, Samastipur, Begusarai and have got registered with the primary vegetable cooperative Society set up at the panchayat level for collection and Marketing of the produce.
