Chief Minister Shramik Yojana launched by Chief Minister Hemant Soren for unskilled labourers residing in the city is proving to be a boon for them. Labourers residing in the 51 municipal bodies of the State are benefiting from it.

The Covid-19 pandemic came up with many allied problems, one major problem was Unemployment. To address this issue, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren launched this scheme to create EMPLOYMENT opportunities for labourers.

For the daily wage labourers, this period was like a disaster. Millions of migrant workers returned to their homes.
