Over 6600 schools in state dont have toilets

Thousands of government primary and middle schools inMadhya Pradeshdo not have toilets even for girls, nor boundary walls.
At least 6,610 government schools are without toilets, and 2,700 dont have washrooms for girls, says information tabled by school Education ministerIndar SinghParmar in the assembly on Tuesday. A whopping 50,417 (60%) of the 83,239 primary and middle schools in MP dont have boundary walls.

Of the 58,506 primary schools, 2,025 dont have girls toilets. Its the same for 679 of the 24,733 middle schools. Over 3,900 schools dont have toilets for boys either. As many as 65% primary schools and 49% of middle schools are without a boundary wall.

Indores Green Bond received public response

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the public has appreciated the green issued by the Indore Municipal Corporation while carrying out financial innovation to reduce the cost of electricity. The water of Narmada ji comes in Indore from Jalud in Khargone.

Municipal Corporation Indore had issued green bonds worth Rs 244 crore for setting up a 60 Megawatt solar power plant in Khargone.

In just two and a half hours, 300 crores were collected through green bonds and till last evening bonds worth 650 crores were filled. People have filled bonds trusting the ongoing activities for green energy in the state. This has given cities a new way to raise funds for development. Encouraging green energy, organisations are becoming active for environmental protection and they are getting encouragement from the general public, which is welcome.

MP to use drone technology for welfare: CM

The first drone fair of the state was organised on the initiative of Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Gwalior. Around 20 companies displayed their drones in the fair.

Chouhan said that fairs are an ancient tradition of Gwalior, but today a wonderful fair has been organised in Gwalior in the form of drone fair. This drone fair is not just a fair, it is a campaign to change the lives of the people. He said that drone technology can be used for spraying fertilisers and pesticides in the fields. With this, farmers can avoid the ill-effects of harmful chemicals. This technology is also less expensive. Drone technology saves up to 25 percent of manure.

MoU will be executed with 10 leading companies

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the chief guest during the MoU with 10 prestigious government and non-government organisations of the country under the startup policy at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore.

MoUs are being signed with the aim of making startups and MSMEs commercially and technically capable and strong and to provide new Marketing opportunities. This is an important initiative in view of seeking the cooperation of organisations associated with or working for startups and MSMEs.

An MoU will also be executed with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), an organisation of the Government of India. It is an initiative of the Department for Promotion of and Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. ONDC is a network based on open protocol.

It provides a platform for local commerce in areas such as mobility, grocery, food order, delivery, hotel booking and travel. It aims to create new opportunities, curb digital monopolies, support Micro, Small and Medium enterprises and small traders and helps to bring them on the online platform.

MSMEs and startups of the state will get benefits and cooperation from the MoU with ONDC. This will help in organising workshops to train small scale industries, startups and market participants. The facility of including relevant market participants will be available on the ONDC network. The network will also have the facility to connect with other existing participants.

Only 12 districts in Madhya Pradesh have satisfactory sex ratio at birth

Less than 25% districts ofMadhya Pradeshhas satisfactory sex ratio of more than 950 females against 1000 males at the time of birth, shows an annual report of Health and family welfare department.

The report for the year 2021 shows that only 12 districts – Indore, Shajapur, Dewas, Mandsaur, Neemuch and Alirajpur, Raisen, Betul, Seoni, Balaghat and Dindori – have sex ratio of more than 950 females at the time of birth.

Sex ratio is number of females per 1000 males in the age group of 0-6 years. The sex ratio at the time of birth is defined as number of girls born against 1000 boys. A sex ratio of 952 girls against 1000 boys at the time of birth is satisfactory, defines the report.

The report further suggested that half of 52 districts in the state have sex ration between 920 to 950. There are four districts, Morena, Gwalior, Datia and Burhanpur, with sex ratio of less than 883 at the time of birth.

MOU signed between tourism deptt and noted filmmakers

With an aim of shooting big budget and megastar films and generating local EMPLOYMENT through film tourism in Madhya Pradesh, A MOU was signed between the tourism department and renowned filmmakers. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Content Engineer MediaTek LLP Mumbai, Tourism Board and MP Tourism Development Corporation executed the contract regarding the roles and responsibilities of the film producer and tourism department for film shooting in the state.

Principal Secretary Shukla said that not only will big budget and megastar films be shot in Madhya Pradesh, but film tourism will increase employment opportunities in the state. As per the stipulation, single window for permission and coordination of various tourist places of Madhya Pradesh to the filmmakers, Attractive DISCOUNT for the film crew in the MP. tourism unit, of about 50 crores by the filmmaker in the next 5 years, which includes films, web series, documentaries etc.

In Madhya Pradesh, the public will now be able to file an e-FIR on the Citizen Portal sitting at home. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this while dedicating the Citizen Portal at a ceremony organised on the occasion of 20 years of Jan Kalyan and Suraj yesterday. He said that new efforts are being made daily by the government to provide facilities to the citizens. Innovations are being implemented. By establishing good governance, coordinated efforts are going on to make the life of the common man smooth and easy.

Optional facility of registering FIR in the form of e-FIR has been provided to the common men by the Citizen Portal. With this, everyone can file an e-FIR in relation to the incident to the concerned Police station online. e-FIR can be registered by citizens by registering themselves on Madhya Pradesh Police website or citizen portal https://citizen.mppolice.gov.in only by logging in with registered ID.

After the registration of FIR on the said e-FIR application, the applicant will continue to receive the updated status of various stages of his FIR through SMS and e-mail. With the dedication of the Citizen Portal, the aggrieved person will be able to file a complaint online through e-FIR in cases of vehicle theft up to 15 lakh or general theft up to one lakh. The common person will get the facility of Aadhaar e-sign through this. Aadhar e-signed acknowledgment will be available through online e-mail and SMS.

Through the citizen portal, the aggrieved person will be able to get the current status of the e-FIR.

The facility of Madhya Pradesh Police Mobile App has also been provided in the state. Through this app, electronic acknowledgment of missing documents and missing mobile information, facility of sending SMS to relatives and Dial-100 in times of crisis, facility to search information of missing person or unidentified dead body has been provided.

Ethanol producers propose to invest Rs 3,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradeshgovernment is preparing to unveil anethanolpolicy to attract ethanol manufacturers in the state. At least 18 investors have proposed to invest Rs 3000 crore in the state.

In the past six months, 18 potential investors have seen land parcels across different locations in the state to set up ethanol Plants. Some of the destinations being preferred by investors for setting up manufacturing units are Jabalpur, Satna, Chhindwara, Vidisha, Balaghat, Nemawar and Dhamnod.

The will soon unveil an ethanol policy for which the draft is ready to lure Investment from ethanol plants.

Key requirements of investors looking to invest in the state are availability of raw material and water as it is a water-intensive Industry.

The oil Marketing companies will float tenders or sign an MoU to lift ethanol from manufacturers and final blending will be done by oil marketing companies. Centre has laid down a target of achieving 20 per cent ethanol blending with petrol by 2025, a move aimed at reducing oil imports. At present, ethanol blending in the country is 8.5 per cent.

The hard work of the residents of Indore has once again created history in ground verification.Under the Swachhtaa Bharat Mission Urban, the cities of the country are tested on the basis of various parameters of cleanliness in various categories which includes ODF Plus, ODF Double Plus and Water Plus. The Water Plus certificate is awarded to cities that have met all the standards of ODF Double Plus. Also, the residual sewage from residential and commercial establishments is released into the Environment only after treatment.

Toy story trends in Indore biz ecosystem, to grow at 15%

A surge in demand for promotional and educational toys has lured many youngsters and existing industries to expand into manufacturing of miniatures of super cars, cartoon characters like Chotta Bheem, baby shark, bath toys, soft toys and the list goes on.

With presence of close to 50 Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSME), toy manufacturing units in Indore including unorganised ones, players have pegged the industry size at around Rs 300 crore which is anticipated to grow at more than 15 per cent per annum.
