The farmers of Madhya Pradesh will be able to sell their produce from home, for this, initiative has been taken by the Mandi Board. Earlier, due to the closure of the mandis of Madhya Pradesh during the corona crisis, the Madhya Pradesh Government had given permission to the traders to buy agricultural produce from the farmers’ homes.

In order to maintain this system continuously, the Managing Director, MP State https://exam.pscnotes.com/agricultural-Marketing“>Agricultural Marketing Board, Bhopal issued a circular on September 15 regarding re-purchase and sale of agricultural produce outside the market yard through the deal sheet Android Mobile App.

Instructions have been given to the market secretaries. It is to be mentioned here that in the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Act 1972, there is a provision to purchase agricultural produce of farmers through deal sheets. In Madhya Pradesh, mainly wheat and paddy are procured through primary credit Cooperative Societies at minimum support price for the produce of the farmers.

Dr Satya Gupta, President, VLSI Society of India said, The government has announced policies and invited investments, now the need is to create Infrastructure and a talent pool to support the industrial Growth. We plan to train 10,000 vlsi design engineers in MP in the next 5-6 years and work as a facilitator for around 100 startups of the state working in the field of semi-conductor.

The government of India has launched the India Semiconductor Mission with a financial outlay of Rs 76,000 crore for setting up semiconductor chip fabrication, display fabs and design link incentives. To contribute to the mission, the Madhya Pradesh government is also focusing on electronics and semiconductors to improve the economy and VLSI technical skills in the state.
Gupta said India requires around 1.25 lakh engineers to support the countrys ‘India Semiconductor Mission’ that needs a pool of talent and skilled engineers.

Kolar to get citys second animal birth control centre

Delayed by about three months, second animal birth control (ABC) facility to sterilize, vaccinate stray dogs in state capital will be functional by the end of the month. Two more ABC facilities are expected to be functional by March end.

BMC has a dedicated wing for dealing with stray animals. Penalties are being imposed and owners of cattle are sensitised about movement of stray cattle on city roads. A census by the veterinary department in 2019 estimated there are around 10,000 domesticated dogs in Bhopal. The number of stray dogs could be 1.3 to two lakh dogs in the state capital.

Last October, 35% of all the complaints across MP were linked to stray animals in public places. Around 22% of the complaints were unresolved.
Currently the number of dogs sterlisations being conducted is low. Three times more puppies are born per day, according to BMC experts.

Winter session of State assembly from December 19

The winter session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be held from December 19. The Vidhan Sabha Secretariat has issued a notification regarding the five-day session. Home Minister Narottam Mishra informed that the winter session of the Vidhan Sabha will be held for five days from December 19 to December 23. Its notification has been issued. Transco to dedicate three grid stations for Metro Rail project in Indore

The Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL) will dedicate three of its grid stations for theMetro Railproject inIndore. The 220/132KV extra high tension power grids will be located in Depalpur, Jaitpura and Manglia areas.

The new substations for Indore Metro Rail project have been planned at MR 10,Gandhi Nagarand Khajrana. Bulk supply of power to the new substations will be provided through extra high-tension grids of Depalpur, Jaitpura, and Manglia areas respectively.

MSME eyes 200 crore investment from toy makers

Thestate Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSME) department is eyeing for more than Rs 200crore investmentfrom toy manufacturers of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and nearby states in the current fiscal though lack of availability of industrial land near Indore may discourage some .

Toy manufacturers of Delhi have intended to invest in Madhya Pradesh in the clusters and on industrial land parcels close to well-developed cities like Indore having easy access to transport, allied Industry and labour.
Around 40 industries from 36 companies of India under the banner of the Toy Association of India (TAI), a body of toy manufacturers of India, in a meeting with the state MSME department recently in Delhi had shown inclination in putting up manufacturing units in MP lured by the benefits rolled out by the State Government to industries.

TAI has also proposed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the MP government to explore and enhance export and domestic sale opportunities.

The aim is to create awareness amongst stakeholders in the fight against fake.

Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are the top three states with the highest counterfeit incidents reported in the last year. The top three states represent almost 46% of the counterfeit incidents reported in India. Most of these cases are being reported in Alcohol, Currency, FMCG, and Pharma.

The report studies and highlights the trends of counterfeiting incidents reported in India for the period January 2018 to December 2020, providing special insight on 2020 incidents.

According to the report, counterfeiting incidents have risen rapidly /steadily in the last few years.
