Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also attend the programme. The preparations for the launch-programme are being finalised.

Wet waste which was once a problem for everyone has become an achievement for Indore today due to which the state has got this boon in the form of Bio-CNG plant.

The whole country will see this success of Indore, which is considered to be the largest city and commercial capital of the state. Mission directors of Swachch Bharat Mission from about 20 states of the country will also participate in the dedication programme of Bio-CNG Plant. Apart from this, other senior officials of the central government and states will also be present in this programme. All these officers will also visit those places of Indore city where special work is being done in the field of cleanliness.

Necessary arrangements are being made to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the guests. Efforts are also being made to include Women of Self-Help Groups, who have played a significant role in the field of cleanliness in habitations and remote areas. Social organisations, business organisations and other dignitaries, with whose cooperation Indore has made a special place in the country in cleanliness, will participate in this programme.

The specialty of this Bio-CNG plant is that methane gas has been found with 96 percent purity in the gas generated from it. This will not only improve the calorific value but also increase the effectiveness of Bio CNG. This plant is built on PPP mode, from which Indore will get revenue of 2.5 crores per annum.

This Bio CNG plant will be operated from 100% wet waste. This achievement has been made due to the guidance and determination of the State Government, the activity of the local administration and the passion of the citizens of Indore to do something good. In the survey of the company by which this Bio-CNG plant is being set up, it was found that more than 99 percent segregation purity has been found in the sample of the waste received from Indore, which was not found in the sample taken from any other state of the country. About 400 buses can be run daily with the 18 thousand KG gas generated from the Bio-CNG plant, which will not only help in environmental protection but will also make relative improvement in the air quality.

Madhya Pradesh is making a distinct identity by presenting examples of excellent works in new areas. The trenching ground of Bhanpur in Bhopal has also taken a new shape. Last year, Chief Minister Chouhan had seen a site developed instead of a garbage dump in Bhanpur area.
