• World Tuberculosis Day is celebrated on 24 March every year. It was established by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1982 to raise awareness of tuberculosis (TB) and to promote its prevention and control.
• International Day of Forests is celebrated on 21 March every year. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 to raise awareness of the importance of forests and to promote their sustainable management.
• World Poetry Day is celebrated on 21 March every year. It was established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1999 to celebrate the art of poetry and to promote its appreciation and understanding.
