UP district tops e-registration of consumer complaints

The district consumer commission of Mainpuri inUttar Pradeshhas registered the maximum number of consumer complaints under e-Daakhil since the scheme to launch grievenaces was launched at the national level. The district commission also has the lowest rate of rejection of cases filed online.

According to data, Mainpuri has accepted 227 complaints through e-Daakhil, which is the highest in the country. The South West Delhi District Commission has the second highest number of accepted cases (183), followed by Sangli (161 cases) inMaharashtra.

This also shows that while 18,320 complaints have been filed online by the consumers so far in district, state and national consumer commissions, only 6,815 (37%) have been accepted so far.

So far 31 states and UTs have launched the e-Daakhil.
