Ahead ofAssembly electionsinChhattisgarh, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has fulfilled yet another promise, the Congress partys 2018-19 ‘Janghoshna Patr’ had made, by transferring the Unemployment allowance amounting to Rs 16 crore directly in the bank accounts of 66,265 unemployed youths of the state.
Encouraging the youths through a virtual event organised to transfer the amount, the chief minister said that the has prepared an action plan aimed at EMPLOYMENT for all. The chief minister hoped that the amount transferred to them will help them in their preparations for the various competitive examinations.
Appreciating theskill development,technical educationand employment department for taking up the challenge to complete the action plan within a month, the chief minister expected that the hurdles of reservation bills will be removed soon and subsequently the door will open for new recruitments.
The chief minister interacted virtually with the beneficiaries of the unemployment allowance scheme across the state. Hitesh from Surguja told the chief minister that the Rs 2500 he received online will help in further studies. Megha Khandekar told the chief minister that he will make better use of this amount
The Chhattisgarh government had promised to give Rs 2500 each to the eligible unemployed educated youths of the state from April 1 and set certain criteria for the same. Those who have passed the 12th standard and are unemployed will be entitled to a monthly allowance of Rs 2500, provided their familys annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
