In a big push to upgrade Education, Sunam has become the first Assembly constituency in the state to have started the process of setting up Robotics labs in all 18 Government Senior secondary schools.
One lab was inaugurated on Saturday by Minister Aman Arora and for the remaining 17 labs, authorities have dispatched latest equipment. Apart from robotics, three XR reality labs are also being set up with the help of a German firm.
Himachal Pradesh chief ministerSukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday raised the issue of handing over the Shanan project to the state with Union power minister R K Singh in New Delhi.
During his meeting with the Union minister, Sukhu informed him that the 99-year lease period of the Shanan project would expire in March next year as per the lease agreement and asked for issuing necessary directions to thePunjabgovernment for taking mandatory steps for handing over the project to the hill state before the expiry of the lease period. Sukhu also apprised the Union minister about the facts regarding the share of the state in the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) and sought 12% water royalty for his state. He said due to the construction of various projects by the BBMB, many townships were forced to rehabilitate and even after 50 years, a number of oustees were yet to get compensation.
In an effort to help people living in far-flung pockets of the Himalayan state, theUttarakhandgovernment has announced that Ias officers would now have to spend nights in rural pockets of hills and meet the locals.
Following the directives from senior authorities, the state planning department has passed an order in this regard which states that the process of visiting hill districts and staying in remote villages would commence from June. According to the guidelines for the next one year, the officers would have to visit the assigned areas once in each 15 days. Within a week of the visit, they would be required to hand over their report to the government.
For the plain areas of the state, additional chief secretaries Radha Raturi and Anand Bardhan would visit three districts of Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital once in three months. The first list for the month of June contains names of 21 IAS officers who would visit the remaining 10 districts.
In his first visit to Mainpuri after urban civic polls, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated as well as laid foundations of projects worth Rs 412 crore in the district.
While inaugurating 23 industrial projects worth Rs 238.30 crore and laying the foundation stones of 40 development projects worth Rs 173.19 crore, the chief minister said that the government was working hard to make Mainpuri one of the most developed districts of the state.

In a bid to make theHazaribag Lakeone of the most attractive tourist destinations inJharkhand, Hazaribag deputy commissioner (DC) Nancy Sahay has taken a slew of measures. A total of Rs 1 crore has been released from the District Mineral Trust Fund (DMFT) for developing the lake, she stated.

Rural Industrial Parks (RIPAs) have significantly boosted rural in Chhattisgarh and are transforming the rural areas with innovative ideas.
Currently, the State Government is in the process of establishing 300 RIPA units which aim to empower Women economically.
RIPAs are being established to bring together women self-help groups and young individuals who aspire to start their own businesses but lack sufficient space and Resources.
In the first phase, two RIPAs each are being established in seven development blocks of Raigarh district.
Various income-generating activities including vermicompost production, community gardening, fish farming, Poultry farming and goat farming are being conducted.
Additionally, RIPAs also include fabrication units, sewing units, aluminum fabrication, mushroom production and facilities for oil processing, flour milling, mini rice mills and cow dung paint manufacturing units.
Loans are being made available through various schemes. Many of these activities are actively undertaken by local youths.
Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi remains concerned about providing EMPLOYMENT to the youth. Along with this, he is also focused on skill upgradation. Today 640 youth got employment in the mega job fair. Chief Minister Chouhan said that employment is very important. On one hand there are employers who need skilled persons and on the other hand youth want employment.
Ahmedabad’sNarol textile cluster, known as the country’s largest textile processing hub, is set to upgrade its Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP).
The current capacity of the CETP, which stands at 100MLD (million litres per day), will be boosted to 130MLD. This expansion project, estimated to cost around Rs 75-80 crore, will be collectively funded by approximately 120 member units of the Narol Textile Infrastructure and Enviro Management (NTIEM).
The NTIEM oversees the operations of the Narol CETP, which commenced its activities in 2017. While the individual units within the cluster possess a consolidate, Consent and authorization (CCA) for a total of 23MLD, the CETP holds a CCA for 100MLD. Furthermore, the CETP has received Consent to Establish (CTE) for a capacity of 130MLD, paving the way for the planned upgrade.

Rajasthanis poised to establish its fifth tiger reserve. The expert committee led by the chief wildlife warden has submitted its proposal tothe NationalTiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) for officially designating the Karauli-Sarmathura-Dholpur sanctuary areas as Dholpur Tiger Reserve (DTR).
The forest department claims that the committee has effectively addressed the concerns raised by the NTCA. The expert committee, tasked with defining the boundaries of the proposed DTR, has identified the core or critical tiger habitat and the buffer or peripheral area surrounding the reserve.
According to the primary proposal, the tiger reserve will span 1,058 sq km, including 368 sq km of core area and 690 sq km of buffer area. Of the proposed core area, 197 sq km and 170 sq km are located in the Karauli and Dholpur districts, respectively. Additionally, a small portion of forest in Bharatpur district has been included in the proposed tiger reserve.
