The Worker Population Ratio (WPR) on usual status for females of age 15 years and above inRajasthanhas gone up to 39% in 2021-22, which is the highest among female graduates in three years, according to the official data on (PLFS), conducted by the ministry of statistics and programme implementation (MoSPI).
The WPR on usual status for male and female graduates of age 15 years and above in Rajasthan was 61.9% for male and 17.2% for female in 2020-21. This was the lowest for female graduates in three years. In 2019-20, the WPR was 64.8% for male graduates and 22.4% for female graduates. In 2018-19, the WPR was 65.0% for male graduates and 19.1% for female graduates.
As per the latest available annual PLFS Reports, the estimated WPR on usual status for females of age 15 years and above has increased to 31.7% in the whole country during 2021-22 from 22% (2017-18). The number of job-seekers who got themselves registered in the EMPLOYMENT exchanges during 2021 and 2022 was 32.24 lakh and 39.97 lakh, respectively. TNN
