Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said that the budget has already been allocated for every district of the state, under which Rewari will get Rs 250 crore.

Urban and rural local bodies will be able to make good use of it and the overall development of Rewari district will also be ensured, the Chief Minister said while talking to the mediapersons after participating in a programme organized at KLP College, Rewari.

He clarified that the land survey has been done for this project and the further process will be completed soon. The Chief Minister said that once the work of Lal Dora is completed, the people of the villages will also get facilities like regular colonies on similar lines of the cities.

A policy is also being formulated for the people having land outside the Lal Dora of the village. On the similar lines of development charge being levied in the cities, development works will be executed in rural areas too.

Punjab Government has decided to provide grant-in-aid to the eligible NGOs for establishing or running the Senior Citizen Homes in 16 districts of the State.

Fulfilling its commitment for the well being of all sections of the Society, the has made arrangements to establish and run Senior Citizen Homes in all the districts under The Punjab Management of Senior Citizen Homes for Elderly Persons Scheme 2019, said the state Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Aruna Chaudhary.

The Minister said that a grant-in-aid worth Rs 3.84 crore was released to such NGOs in Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Ferozepur districts for the senior citizen homes during the previous financial year 2020-21. Now in this financial year, applications have been invited from NGOs for grant-in-aid for opening or running old age homes in the remaining 16 districts Bathinda, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Moga, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Patiala, Rup Nagar, SAS Nagar, Sangrur, and Tarn Taran.

A new study based on the scientific enumeration of this elusive animal indicates that up to 73 snow leopards (Panthera uncia) may be hidden in the high-altitude hills of Himalayas. Conservation of Snow Leopard:

India has been protecting snow leopards and their habitats through the (PSL). Since 2013, India has been a party of the Global Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Protection (GSLEP) program. In order to protect, India has identified three major landscapes, namely Hemis-Spiti across Ladakh and Himalayas; Nanda Devi-Gangotri in Uttarakhand, And Khangchendzonga-Tawang, which straddles Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.

The Snow Leopard Project (PSL) was launched in 2009 to promote an inclusive and participatory approach to protecting snow leopards and their habitats. According to the restoration plan of the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate-change”>Climate Change, snow leopards have been included in the list of 21 critically endangered species.

Habitat: Snow leopards inhabit the high Landforms of the Himalayas and trans-Himalayas in five states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himalayas, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. In Himachal Pradesh, the snow leopard habitat covers most of Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur. Its potential habitat also extends to the upper areas of Shimla, Kuru, Camba and Kangra. Most of these areas are remote areas, and winter also limits accessibility challenges.

Gharoki Pechan, Chelik Naam Scheme launched in Nainital

In Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat has launched Gharoki Paachan, Chelik Naam (daughters name is a homes identity) programme and development schemes.

Initially, the scheme has been launched in Nainital and will be extended to entire Uttarakhand in the coming weeks.

The government has allocated Rs 42 crore for this scheme.

This scheme is in line with the effort of the towards promoting Women Empowerment.

Around 32,000 women groups of the state are being linked with self-EMPLOYMENT to make them self-reliant.

The Union Minister inaugurated Saras Aajeevika Mela 2021. About Saras Aajeevika Mela 2021:

The Ministry of Rural Development is organizing “Saras Aajeevika Mela 2021” in Noida Haat.

More than 300 rural self-help groups and artisans from 27 states are participating in the Mela event.

In Mela (exhibition), a booth showing regional cuisines and cultural performances is being organized.

During Mela, workshops on product packaging and design, Communication skills, Social Media promotion and Business 2 Business Marketing will be organized to educate rural self-help groups and craftsmen.

By participating in SARAS Aajeevika Mela, these rural SHG Women have gained critical national level understanding to understand the needs and tastes of urban customers.

If the findings of the national sero survey are to be believed, Jharkhand might develop herdimmunityahead of a possible third wave. As per the fourth national sero survey for SARS-Cov-2 released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the general population in the state showed IgG positivity (anti S1-RBD antibodies) to the tune of 55.3% while it touched 80.43% among health workers.

As per the document released by Icmr, a total of 1,231 persons were tested for antibodies across three districts from the general Population, of which 680 showed the presence of antibodies. While among Health workers, 302 persons were tested and 243 had antibodies.

The three districts that were selected for the survey are Pakur, Latehar and Simdega. In the general population category, Simdega topped the chart with 65.3% of those surveyed having antibodies while Latehar reported 56.6% and Pakur 44%. In the health worker category, 85% in Latehar have developed antibodies followed by Simdega with 81%, while Pakur reported 77%.

Some participants have come up with traditional doll making art like Kaniya-Putri which is an important part of folk-culture in the state.

Kaniya-Putri is an old doll making tradition which signifies the importance and prestigious place of Women in the societies of Champaran area of the state.

National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation & Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive:

This is a Central Sector Scheme

Initiated by: Ministry of Tourism 2014-15

Objective: Comprehensive development of identified pilgrimage and heritage destinations

Goals: development, such as entry points (road, rail and water transportation), last mile connection, ATM/Money exchange, area lighting and renewable resource lighting, emergency centers, etc.

The President held a conservation project at Singorgarh Fort in Damoh District (MP). About Singorgarh Fort:

It is an old hill fortress of the Gondwana dynasty, with hills all over the forested area.

Singorgarh Fort is located in Damoh District, Madhya Pradesh.

The fort is the residence of the ruler of Gond in Central India.

Prior to this, the fort was under the rule of the Chandela rulers in the BundelKhand region.

This fortress has a special connection with Rani Durgavati, Queen of Gondwana from 1550 to 1564.
