online lottery to admit students under the Right To Education (RTE) schemein 32,722 non-government schools. Under this scheme, 25% seats are allotted underRTEscheme for students of pre-primary to Class-1 in these private schools. The fee is reimbursed by the state.

The government had conducted lottery for around 2 lakh seats at 37,354 non-government schools. However, number of students who applied for this scheme is more than the number of seats.
