People in the age group of 20 to 39 years are the most affected in the third wave ofCovidpandemic.

About 51.9% people who got infected with coronavirus between January 1 and January 10 were in the age group of 20-39 years, as per the Health department data. Around 1.9% infected people were in the age group of 0-9 years, 10% in 10-19,

15.2% in 40-49 and 12.5% in 50-59 age groups. Among the affected, 8.6% were senior citizens.

Altogether 29,149 people have tested positive for Covid in the state in the last 10 days. Of them, 66.9% are men and 33.1% Women.

The mobile application was launched in May last year by CMNitish Kumar, through which the health workers kept track of around 1.5 lakh patients in Home isolation. The ANMs used to monitor the SPO2 and temperature of Covid patients before uploading the data to the health dashboard.
