Ranchi accounts for 46% of all dengue cases in Jharkhand

Though dengue cases inJharkhandare relatively less than last year, Ranchi accounts for nearly 46% of the confirmed positive cases which have been detected across the state between January and October.

Air quality in Patna improves to ‘moderate’ from ‘poor’ category

The city experienced less pollution ahead of winter this year compared to the previous year when there was less traffic on road due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The air quality index (AQI) of Patna has drastically improved by 79 notches – from ‘poor’ zone at 205 to ‘moderate’ zone at 129 – in the last 24 hours, as per the bulletin of theCentral Pollution Control Board(CPCB). When compared to other major cities in Indo-Gangetic plains, Patna was at the third position in improved air quality after Kolkata (115) and Dehradun (76). The other major cities like

The improved Environment was largely due to favourable weather conditions, rise in temperature, less traffic movement owing to Chhath festival and various measures taken under the Clean Air Action Plan.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’. A ‘moderate’ AQI essentially means breathing discomfort will be experienced by the people having lung, asthma and heart diseases.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the government will provide all facilities to industries which will give EMPLOYMENT to local residents of the state.

Chouhan was addressing the unveiling program of Sagar Textile Manufacturing Private Limiteds new project costing Rs 1070 crore at Tamot in Gauharganj tehsil of Raisen district on Thursday.

Chouhan said that today Madhya Pradesh is one of the 10 leading states in textile Industry. We are trying our best to reach the top position in the state. Presently the textile products of Madhya Pradesh are being exported to different countries of the world and have also made their own identity. Chief Minister Chouhan said that more than 3,000 youth of the state would get direct employment and a large number of citizens would get indirect employment from the industry started in Tamot today. With the coming of this project, there will be all-round development of the area.

The Chief Minister said that his entire focus is on providing employment to the youth. In the next one year, a campaign is underway to link one lakh government jobs and about 2 lakh youth to self-employment every month. The Chief Minister also praised the Sagar Group for employing 60 percent of Women workers and making the campus drug-free. Rajasthan’s school education performance improves to Level 2 in latest grading

With improvement in and basic facilities in schools across the state,Rajasthanis now at Level 2 of the performance grading index (PGI) to assess school Education with a score of 903.

This is likely the first time that Rajasthan has reached Level 2 in the PGI report.

The index was released by the ministry of education on Thursday. Seven states and Union Territories (UTs) have received Level 2, the highest rating given in the latest report.

The PGI helps you to understand the status of school education in different states and UTs and checks parameters such as Learning outcome and quality, access, infrastructure, and facilities, among others, and identifies areas that require improvement.

Since 2019-20, the state has shown improvement in indicators such as access, infrastructure and facilities, and Governance processes, as per the report.

These categories are further divided into five

domains – learning outcomes (LO), access (A), infrastructure & facilities (IF), Equity (E) and governance process (GP).

The state plans to set up two textile parks with common facilities and Infrastructure to support the entire value chain and draw investment. Under the PM-MITRA scheme, the Centre has assured to provide a capital support of Rs 500 crore or 30 per cent of the project cost (whichever is highest) to develop common infrastructure in the proposed textiles park.
