Over 200 crore wage liability in Rajasthan under NREGA, states Lok Sabha reply

There was a pending liability of Rs 241 crore for wage component underMGNREGAinRajasthan(as on December 8), aLok Sabhareply has stated.
A wage liability of Rs 3,655 crore under MGNREGA is pending in the whole country (as on December 8).

Rajasthan is fourth highest among all states in terms of pending liabilities for wage component underNREGA.

question raised by MP Kalyan Banerjee in Lok Sabha. West Bengal had a wage liability under the EMPLOYMENT guarantee scheme of Rs 1,526 crore, which was highest in the country. It was followed by Karnataka with Rs 613 crore and Madhya Pradesh with Rs 561 crore.
