New records have been set in the field of higher education during the one-year tenure of the State Government. Despite corona crisis, students were kept virtually connected to education. Madhya Pradesh became the first state in the country to have conducted examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate classes through open book system. later on including west Bengal other states of the country followed it.

Suggestions were taken from experts in the fields of literature, science, , commerce, Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture, etc. to implement the National Education Policy in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in the country to implement the National Education Policy from July-2021 as per the wish of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Action was taken for academic qualitative upgradation in universities and colleges through 20 components under Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. This includes building construction, smart class-room and virtual Learning facility, construction of integrated portal, strengthening information technology, establishment of distance learning centres in colleges, formation of Entrepreneurship cells etc.
