Karnataka approves Foxconn’s Rs 8,000-crore mobile manufacturing unit plan near Bengaluru

The Karnataka government on Monday, through its state high-level clearance committee (SHLCC), cleared the proposedRs 8,000-crore by Taiwanese company Foxconn.
The project is to manufacture mobile devices

and is expected to come up on the outskirts of Bengaluru, across the Doddaballapur and Devanahalli taluks.
The project received the green Light at a meeting that saw 10 proposals worth Rs 75,393 crore being cleared.
