First Commercial cargo of Mishri variety of cherries used to be exported to Dubai from Srinagar in order to increase horticultural exports.
In June, a sample consignment was despatched to Dubai from Sri Nagar before this shipment.
Later, an encouraging response from consumers in Dubai, first business shipment was exported to Dubai.
