Development in agriculture sector should be felt at grassroots: Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

Chief minister Y SJagan Mohan Reddytold officials to focus on agricultural development projects for which the government is investing 16,320.83 crore.
The chief minister reviewed the progress of infrastructure projects in Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture and allied sectors.

The chief minister said Infrastructure Development projects should be made available to farmers in every village. He also told the officials to encourage allied sectors in agriculture that provide additional income to farmers. He said changes must be felt at the grassroots level and added that construction of all structures, including warehouses, should be expedited.

The chief minister said a custom hiring centre for Organic Farming should be set up at every RBK by next year and directed officials to create awareness among famers. He also directed officials to arrange machinery and equipment for organic and natural farming at every RBK. He instructed officials to ensure a better price for organic and natural farming products.
