Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has launched an bold Ubharte Sitaare Fund -USF for export-oriented firms and startups in a application at Lucknow.

While attending the mass marriage ceremony under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that development of Society was not possible without the Empowerment of Women.

The chief minister said that the mass marriage scheme was a successful initiative to combat the evil dowry practice that was still widely prevalent in society.

Asserting that the has conducted more than two lakh marriages since 2017 under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, Yogi said, Prior to 2017, Rs 31,000 were spent on the marriage of each couple, later, it was increased to Rs 51,000.

Reiterating that the double-engine government was committed to ensuring the safety, dignity and empowerment of women, the chief minister said, Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana is being run in the state for the Education of girl child from birth to graduation, while Mission Shakti is being run in the entire state to ensure the safety of women.

Uttar Pradesh: Manufacturers body to bolster defence corridor work

The Society of IndianDefenceManufactures (SIDM), in PARTNERSHIP withConfederation of Indian , launched its first state chapter for DEFENCE inUttar Pradesh. The organisation is expected to work at fostering collaboration among the state, industry bodies and private players in the defence sector, crucial for UP in Light of the upcoming defence corridor.

UP exports rise by Rs 10,000 crore in comparison to 2021-22: FIEO

The latest data with theFederation of India Exports Organisation(FIEO) shows thatUttar Pradesh’s exports have gone up by Rs 10,000 crore in the past year.

Noida, which is among the most industrialised areas in the state, has topped as the district with most exports at Rs 74,000 crore.
FIEO says that the government’s subsidies to counter the high costs of transportation in view of UP’s landlocked status and push to the one district-one product scheme, have helped in taking the exports up.

As per the data, the total quantum of exports from UP in 2021-22 was Rs 1.57 lakh crore while from April 2022 to February 2023, it touched Rs 1.59 lakh crore. Sources said that with the input from March 2023, it was expected to touch around Rs 1.67 lakh crore.

Compared to other states, UP still has massive potential for improvement.
In 2021-22, Gujarat topped all states with exports of Rs 9.46 lakh crore, followed by Maharashtra with Rs 5.45 lakh crore. UP is fifth on the list, behindTamil Naduand Karnataka.

UP is prominently exporting to the USA, UAE, Germany,United Kingdom, Nepal, France, Spain,Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh. Among the products which are driving up the state’s exports are telecom instruments, buffalo meat, RMGCottonincluding accessories, RMG manmade fibre, leather footwear, saddlery and harness, aluminum and aluminum products, silk and handmade carpets, machinery and engineering goods, wheat, rice, sugar, iron and steel, handicrafts etc.

UP to start happiness curriculum pilot project from this session

Uttar Pradesh governmentis likely to introduce a happiness curriculum as apilot projectfrom this academic session. To be called realisation curriculum, it would be introduced in Mathura schools this session onwards.

The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Mathura has sought the permission of director general, school education, Vijay Kiran Anand, to implement the course in 200 primary and upper primary schools of the district.
The happiness curriculum was first introduced by the Delhi government in 2018. Shravan Kumar Shukla, a government school teacher in Gorakhpur, who was a core team member which developed the happiness curriculum in Delhi, has been approached by the DIET authorities for support.

CM: Village panchayatstogetsports kitsbynext year

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that the government would provide Sports kits to every village panchayat by next year.

Speaking at the sports kits distribution ceremony, Yogi also appealed to Yuvak Mangal Dal and Mahila Mangal Dal to lead the mission to keep the villages clean and beautiful and develop them as centres of harmony and cohesion.

The chief minister also distributed sports kits to a dozen youth and Women Mangal Dals from different districts of Lucknow division on the occasion.

He said that the opening of village secretariats would not only enable people to get caste, birth and other certificates, but also avail benefits of Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Chief Minister Yogi said that work was going on at a war footing to build playgrounds in 30,000 villages, along with separate open gyms for men and women, mini stadiums in blocks and stadiums in districts.

The chief minister urged members of Yuva Mangal Dal and Mahila Mangal Dal to take on the Leadership role and organise contests in folk arts, music and sports for a healthy in villages, devoid of animosity among people.

Yogi remarked further that youth and women’s Mangal Dals were the basis of India’s prosperity, which could realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of self-reliant India.

UP getting new identity as India industrial hub, minister Jaiveer Singh

2023 to witness implementation of Yogis development plans

Besides, from the new year attendance will be marked through the face reading of the children.

In addition, 77 textbooks will be available on QR code while pocket charts of the syllabus will be provided to the teachers. Efficient assessment tests will be conducted for the children of all the primary and upper primary schools of the state through a simple app. Along with this, the Skilled India Monitoring Centre will be established at the state level. On the other hand, to make the high school and intermediate board examinations more transparent, the vehicle carrying the question paper will be equipped with GPS and its route will also be decided.

High-speed net to transform 16,000 gram panchayats

To help India achieve its 5G dream and accelerate digital transition of villages, theUttar Pradeshgovernment will roll out 5FTTHconnections for 16,718 gram panchayats across the state.

FTTH refers to fibre to the Home and its installation is crucial to providing high-speed Internet access. In this, optical fibre is extended from a central point to individual buildings.

Experts pointed out that FTTH promises internet speed of up to 100MB per second which is 20-100 times faster than that offered by regular cable model set up.

Besides speed, FTTH can provide high-speed internet in far-flung areas. It also offers significantly high bandwidth which can greatly aid and speed up digital transaction and Services in areas like Banking, Education and Health.
