Dream of housing for all is being realized in MP

Madhya Pradesh is one of the leading states of the country in the construction of Pradhan Mantri Awas (Gramin). Not only is the housing construction going on fast in the state, but the construction quality is also being taken care of. Earlier only 20 to 25 thousand houses could be completed per month, now the number of houses constructed per month has reached to one lakh. In the last financial year, 2 lakh 60 thousand houses were completed. In the first 6 months of this financial year, more than 4 lakh 30 thousand houses have been completed.

So far 48 lakh rural houses have been approved under the scheme in the state, out of which 29 lakh houses have been completed. More than Rs 35 thousand crores have been spent on these houses. Under the special project, 18 thousand 342 houses have been approved in Guna and Sheopur districts.

In the budget of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), a historic increase of 400 percent has been made in this year’s budget as compared to the last financial year.

Commemorating the 75 glorious years of Indias Independence i.e.Amrit Mahotsav as well as birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Indore today conducted a Cleanliness Awareness Programme for School Children at Shriram Convent School, Musakhedi, village.

Shyam Kishor Verma shared his poems on Cleanliness and Health especially composed for the occasion. The programme was conducted in presence of Rakesh Chandra Shakya, Seema Chauhan of the institute along with Shri Pramod Raghuwanshi, the Director of Shriram Convvent School as well as Principal Arti Raghuwanshi.

Discom to set up master control room for smart meters

aking its smart metering system a step forward,Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited(MPPKVVCL) is now going to set up a master control room for live feed and monitoring of smart meters being installed in all districts ofMalwa-Nimarregion.

This master control room, which is being set up at Polo Ground in Indore, will get live feeds from smart meters installed in 47 cities of the region including Indore, Mhow, Khargone, Ujjain,Ratlam, Dewas etc., claimed officials.

Smart meter works on radio frequency technology and it comes with series of benefits including real time consumption data, remote disconnection and re-connection.

District administration claimed to have carried 100 per cent first dose inoculation of Covid-19 vaccine in eligible candidates, makingIndorethe first district in the country with over 10 lakh population to achieve the distinction.

The age wise bifurcation of inoculation records suggests, around three to four per cent of the eligible 18 lakh Population in the 18-44 age group is yet to be given the first dose. In the age group people above 45 years, it has already achieved over 103% of its target.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has said that all development authorities and special area development authorities should complete the approved projects within the time-limit. There should be no unnecessary delay in any project. Minister Singh reviewed the works of various development authorities on Monday.

Singh said that the process of lease renewal should be expedited. Adopt such a process that the building owners do not face any kind of difficulty.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Singh said that in a week’s time, give suggestions regarding amendment in the Town and Country Planning Act currently in force. He said that action should be taken to denotify the project as per rules. Singh reviewed the Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Dewas authorities separately.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that PM Gati Shakti is an effective tool for planning and execution. Its effective use will ensure better and economical implementation of schemes along with saving time.

Orientation through PM Gati Shakti of officers-employees up to the field level should be ensured in the state. If there is a need to add any information or data related to the state in PM Gati Shakti, its fulfillment should be ensured within the time frame. The development of the state should not be affected under any circumstances.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the review meeting of PM Gati Shakti Madhya Pradesh at his residence office. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bais, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar, Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Promotion Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Science and Technology Shri Amit Rathore, Managing Director Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited Nand Kumaram and other officers were present.

PM Gati Shakti will develop a system for strengthening and better coordination of overall Infrastructure, including Roads, Resources“>Water Resources, Energy, Industry, Urban Development and Housing and Food and Civil Supplies departments. 27 officers from different departments of the state attended the training held at Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Application and Geo Informatics, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. After being the cleanest capital city in the country and then flip-flopping onSwachhrankings, the state capital is vying for a Swachh 7-star in the upcoming survey.

Presently, Indore is the only city in India with a 7-star rating while Bhopal is among five cities with a 5-star garbage free certification.

Aiming to become the cleanest city, BMCSwachh Bharatmission (SBM) budgetary allocation declined by Rs 5 crore in the civic body budget. Allocation for the national clean air programme,Integrated Solid Waste Management Cluster, IEC and other activities too were slashed.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that corona infection is now being controlled in the State. The number of those testing positive is steadily decreasing, but it is necessary to maintain caution right now. About 76 thousand tests were conducted yesterday, out of which only 1640 came positive and 4,995 people got healthy. The State’s recovery rate has increased to 95%. The positivity rate has now come down to 2.1%. Chouhan said this in a message issued to the media from his residence.

The Chief Minister said that we have to stop corona infection and also restore life. Therefore, the Crisis Management Committees of District, Janpad, Ward and Gram Panchayats will have to decide to free their area from Corona Curfew and gradually unlock it as per the Corona Guideline.

Centre to be set up for govt schemes: CM

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a centre should be developed to study the effectiveness of schemes and programmes being implemented in the state.

Chouhan while addressing the fourth meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Rajya said experts from universities and development institutes should be associated for practical assessment of their effectiveness.

Chouhan asked to identify the best practices of other states according to the conditions and needs of Madhya Pradesh and implement them.
It was informed that in view of the better work done in the “aspirational districts” of the state, an amount of more than Rs 71 crores has been provided by the NITI Aayog to the State Government.
