Dalal said a separate budget was also expected for natural farming during the ongoing budget session of the Haryana state legislative assembly.
Dalal was in Kurukshetra University (KU) campus, where he held a press conference organised by the state agriculture department and said to discuss the topic of natural farming, a state-level workshop was being organised on the KU campus on March 8.

Kurana village will be developed under Mahagram Yojana.
The chief minister approved several demands for Kurana village. He approved the demand for widening four roads of the village to five and a half meters. With the Population of the village being more than 10,000, the CM also announced to give the benefit of Mahagram Yojana to Kurana village, along with an assistance of Rs 21 lakh for Shri Jagat Guru Brahmanand Gaushala, Kurana.
Apart from this, Member of Parliament, Sanjay Bhatia and Rajya Sabha member,Krishan Lal Panwarannounced Rs 11 lakh each and MP Arvind Sharma announced Rs. 2.50 lakh for the Gaushala.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha is set to go completely paperless. The Speaker Gian Chand Gupta said that preparations are being made to ensure that the upcoming budget session of Haryana Assembly is completely paperless.
The Speaker held a meeting of the Apex Committee constituted for the purpose. Several MLAs and senior officers were present during the meeting.
Gupta said that the process of making Haryana Legislative Assembly paperless has been accelerated. The details regarding setting up of state-of-the-art equipment to make the House an e-Vidhan Sabha were discussed. A 2-day workshop to impart training on digitization to the staff of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat has also started on Thursday. MLAs of the state will also undergo training to understand the new system.
Similarly, the compensation amount has been increased from Rs 10000 to Rs 12500 for 50 percent to 75 percent damage. Apart from 25 percent increase in compensation will be given in slabs below this, the Chief Minister said during the launch of a modern Cooperative Sugar Mill constructed at a cost of Rs 263 crore in Karnal.
Khattar said that the Haryana Government is giving the highest crop compensation across the country, however, as there has been no increase in this amount since a few years, so it has been enhanced further.
The Chief Minister called upon the farmers to get their crop insured. He said that two days ago the government had announced that the farmer possessing 2 acres of land will not have to pay crop Insurance premium, while for the farmers possessing 5 acres of land, the government has decided to pay half the premium. The farmers having land more than 5 acres will have to get the crop insured themselves, he added.

The Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, Dr Amit Agrawal on Sunday said that a bid of Rs 21 lakh has been placed for the 3D model sculpture of the Chief Minister. A bid has been placed for Rs 6.41 lakh for the sculpture of Arjun Rath, Rs 5.80 lakh for the sculpture of Kamakhya Devalya, and Rs 1.75 lakh for the sculpture of Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
Dr Agrawal said that the amount received from the auction of gifts would be deposited in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and would be spent on public welfare works. The Chief Minister had decided to auction the gifts presented by social organizations or individuals as a mark of respect during various programmes; and under this initiative, the Uphaar Portal was launched, he said.
The Haryana government has prepared an action plan to control pollution in all 11 major drains that discharge treated or untreated effluent into the Yamuna river, the state assembly has been informed.
”Due to the control of pollution in these drains, the polluted water will not fall into the Yamuna river, from which the Agra and Gurugram canals emerge,” Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said. He said this in response to a regarding polluted water in Agra and Gurugram canals.
The minister said it is being regularly reviewed at the level of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the chief secretary. He said the action plan involves construction, upgradation of the existing sewage treatment Plants, common effluent treatment plants, laying of sewage and interception of sewage from unapproved areas, regular monitoring of water polluting industries by Haryana State Pollution Control Board and taking strict legal actions against such industries.
He further said due to the implementation of this action plan, the water quality of Agra canal has improved in the last few years. Sharma informed that the Gurugram and Agra canals originate from Yamuna river at Okhla barrage in the Delhi region. Agra Canal reaches the border of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh near Karman village. The Gurugram Canal is the major source of Irrigation water in Mewat and a large Population is adversely affected due to pollution caused by Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

He said that the work of income verification is being done by collecting data through Parivar Pehchan Patra Yojana. For this, the work of setting up self-employment through 40 schemes of six departments is at the final stage. To increase the income of the poor family, financial assistance will be provided from the banks through the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, he said.
Khattar said that all the office bearers of OBC Morcha should prepare a list of ten such families in their surrounding areas and send it to the so that the goal of increasing the income of poor families can be achieved.
The Chief Minister said that the OBC class is skilled in many fields and such skilled workers are needed not only in the country but abroad as well. Craftsmen play a pivotal role in boosting the economy. Every year Shilpkar Mela is organized in Surajkund to promote the skills of craftsmen. In future, this fair will be organized twice a year so that the craftsmen can showcase their skills in a better manner, he added.
Khattar further said that it is for the first time in the country that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formed the Ministry of Skills to promote skill-based Education and training. On these lines, Haryana Government has also established Shri Vishwakarma Skill University in Palwal so as to sharpen such skills in the State. Along with this, Skill Employment Corporation has also been constituted in the state, he said.
Haryana Resources“>Water Resources Authority (HWRA) chairperson Keshni Anand Arora held a meeting with Superintending Engineers, Irrigation-and-water”>Irrigation and water Resources Department (I&WRD), to review the progress of the Districts Water Resources Plan (DWRP) 2022-25 that is being prepared by all 22 districts as per the HWRA Act.
A three-year action plan was discussed in order to reduce the water demand and supply gap by 45 per cent in three years, which is 10 per cent in the first year, 15 per cent in the second year, and 20 per cent in the third year in water depleted as well as waterlogged areas.
The Chief Minister while speaking during a workshop organized by Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM) said that since 2015. through the SDG Index development priorities have been set for every state under which they are given 17 goals to achieve desired targets. Haryana is swiftly walking on this pace and all the parameters fixed for achieving SDG goals 2030 are being implemented in a phased manner in the State, he said.
On this occasion, he also released Haryana Goals Index 2020-21 and Haryana Provisional SDG District Index 2021 and congratulated the Finance Department and SJHIFM for their efforts in this regard. He further encouraged the Institute and all link departments to work in close coordination for the release of the subsequent edition as well.
