Khattar said that environmental clearance would also be given to 15 long-established formaldehyde industrial units so that those industrial units could uninterruptedly run their operations. Notably, coal and other conventional energy sources would now be replaced with CNG, PNG and LPG in industrial units located in national capital region districts. CNG, PNG, and LPG pipeline supply has not yet reached eight district areas of Haryana coming under NCR, and with the decision of continuation of exemption given to industrial units, now these units too will be able to get CNG, PNG, and LPG supply.

Multi-pronged strategy to be adopted to tackle drug menace, says Hry CM
Instructing the concerned officers to adopt a multi-pronged strategy to eradicate the drug menace in the State, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched a state-wide drug-free Haryana campaign at a programme organized on the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Panchkula.
Speaking on this occasion, Khattar said that under the drug-free Haryana campaign, the Saints and Gurus would work closely with the in bringing those involved in the drug menace into the mainstream of Society. Besides, people would be made aware of the ill effects of drugs so that they do not get addicted.
Urging the people of the state, Social Institutions and Saints and Gurus to work together with determination under this state-wide drug-free Haryana campaign to build a drug-free Haryana, Khattar said that a multi-pronged strategy should be adopted to break the Network of drugs.
He stated that a new task force will be constituted under the Nasha Mukt Haryana campaign which would comprise members from all social and religious organizations, government representatives, Police personnel, and representatives of concerned departments. He said that a joint campaign would be run in the State by all the Stakeholders.
The CM informed that a smartphone app called ‘Saathi’ has been developed to curb the unlawful sale of pharmaceuticals. The Inter-State Drug Secretariat has been established at Panchkula, and Software Hawk has been developed to keep a record of the Database of illegal activities. Besides this, an awareness campaign is being run in the State. For this, Mission teams have been constituted from village level to the state level.
Haryana Govt to take Rs 523 cr loan from SIDBI to promote cluster infrastructure
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said that the has decided to take a loan of Rs 523 crore from Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) for cluster Infrastructure development.
This loan will be taken for the financial year 2021-22, which will be available at a very low interest rate. This loan can be used for PADMA schemes and other cluster development schemes of the State Government.
He said that soon this scheme will be launched; and under this, a new industrial cluster will be set up in every block with the goal of One Block-One Product. This will directly benefit the respective industries of that area, added the Chief Minister.
Haryana Chief Minister launches ‘drug-free society’ drive
Launching a drug-free Society campaign, the Haryana Chief Minister (CM), Manohar Lal Khattar, on Thursday administered oath to hundreds of students, teachers and other prominent people to say no to drugs. All should make efforts for restricting themselves from the drug menace, he added.
This step was initiated by Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore, who fixed a goal to administer oath to say no to drugs to 75 lakh people by 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on August 15, 2022. So far, 10 lakh people have taken a pledge to de-addiction.
Haryana CM approves 900 MW power plant in Yamunanagar
The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India Chang Jae-bok, on his maiden visit to Chandigarh, paid a courtesy call to the Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit and evinced interest in the promotion of cultural and educational exchange programmes.

The Manohar Lal Khattar Government in Haryana has come up with a new policy for grant and utilization of transferable development rights (TDR), which will help the landowners to monetise their land holdings for the sites designated for external development works like sector roads, colleges, hospitals, open spaces, green belts among others.
The policy notified by the Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana is aimed at making it easier for such landowners, whose land is required for critical needs of the development plan, to surrender their land in favour of the government in return of a TDR certificate.
The TDR certificate can be monetized by the landowner by selling it to various developers in the same development plan.
The policy would come as a major relief for the residents of developing sectors in urban areas and facilitate the construction of critical infrastructure like roads, hospitals, colleges.
As per the policy, TDR certificates can be issued for internal sector roads of 30-metre, 24-metre, 18-metre width and those that are part of sectoral plan road pockets. In addition to sector roads, all green belts provided in the development plans along such sector roads will also be considered to be eligible for grant of TDR certificate.
Hry govt has virtually taken over HSGMC
The SAD reacted strongly to a notification issued byHaryanaon nominating 41 members and patron of theHaryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee(HSGMC), saying that the had virtually taken over theSikhbody.
The new gazette issued by the government has made it clear that all 41 members, including patron of HSGMC, will be appointed by the state and the Sangat has no role to play in electing their representatives.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the state is fully geared up to handle the issue of agricultural crop residue burning and air pollution issues ahead of the winter season.
At present, around 47 percent of the area of Haryana comes under the NCR region. Therefore, it is requested that all such provisions should be implemented within the radius of 10 km of NCT and Delhi or within the 10 km radius of cities having 10 lakh Population or these provisions should be implemented as per district specified, not as NCR,” he said.
As many as 34,372 machines (besides 19,353 rotavators which are removed from the list of crop residue management (CRM) implements by the Government of India are available in Haryana with individual farmers in 4,224 Custom Hiring Centers, the Chief Minister said.
Haryana Government has set a target to organize 200 job fairs every year to provide employment opportunities to the youth in the private sector.
Under this, it is mandatory to organize at least one EMPLOYMENT fair or placement drive every quarter by the District Employment Office in every district of the state, said Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala.
He said that many initiatives have been taken by the to increase employment opportunities in the state. A new employment portal has been launched to connect the youth of Haryana with employment in the private sector.
The details of youth of Haryana have been compiled on the employment portal by collecting data from various government departments, ITIs, polytechnics, and higher educational institutions to meet the needs of youth with diverse skills in the private sector. Not only this, private sector employers and job-aggregators have also been integrated on the employment portal, he said.
Under this scheme, Rs. 3000 per month is being provided to eligible post graduate unemployed, Rs. 1500 to graduate unemployed and Rs. 900 per month Unemployment allowance to 10+2 pass unemployed and Rs. 6000 per month in lieu of doing 100 hours of honorary work in addition to the above
The Central Government has accorded approval for the Karnal-Yamunanagar railway line to be built along Western Yamuna Canal in Haryana. Besides this, the elevated railway track to be built in Kaithal has also been approved
This was informed by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar while interacting with the mediapersons after meeting the Union RAILWAY Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, in New Delhi.
Khattar said that the Central Government has approved the Karnal-Yamunanagar railway line to be built along the Western Yamuna Canal in Haryana. The construction along the Western Yamuna Canal will reduce the cost of construction of the Karnal-Yamunanagar railroad by about Rs 400 crore, he said.
Like the elevated railway track in Rohtak and Kurukshetra, the Central Government has also accorded approval for the elevated railway track to be constructed in Kaithal.
