The Paray Shikshalaya has been established for pupils in pre-primary and primary school.

Elementary Education will be provided to pupils in classes 1 through 5 under the system. The classes will take place on the ground.

Extracurricular activities would be promoted and supported among the pupils. Meals will be served in the middle of the day.

According to , the primary school dropout rate was 6.61 percent in 2010-11. In addition, since COVID, the number of pupils attending school has declined across India. West Bengal’s rural areas are yet to obtain Internet access. The open room classroom is the ideal technique to bring in primary school children in this situation.

National Sports Federations Scheme of Assistance

To strengthen its support for Sports in India, the Union Government has authorized the continuation of the “Scheme of Assistance to National Sports Federations (NSFs).”

The continuation of the Scheme has been authorized with a budget of Rs. 1575 crore for the XV Cycle, which runs from 2021-22 to 2025-26.

The principal Central Sector Scheme is the Scheme of Assistance to NSFs.

It is a significant source of funding for national teams preparing for the Asian Games, Para Asian Games, Olympic Games, Para-Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games (CWG), and other major international tournaments.

Use:

The cycle’s funding will be extended to NSFs for national team training for national and international events between 2022 and 2026, focusing on the Commonwealth and Asian Games in 2022, the Olympics, and the Paralympics in 2024 Asian and Commonwealth Games in 2026.

Space X Launched NROL-87 Mission

SpaceX successfully launched NROL-87, a spy satellite for the US military, as part of the operation.

Highlights:

Falcon rocket was used to launch the satellite, which is the second of the mission’s three planned launches.Many details of the NRO fleet are never revealed, as these satellites are employed for military purposes.

The First Time NRO Mission required a Rocket landing, also called a Vertical landing. This was propelled from the Californian Space Force outpost of Vandenberg.

The NROL-87 is a reconnaissance satellite operated by the United States.

The satellite was launched into a 512.7 km orbit by a Falcon rocket. It was orbited around the Sun in a Sun Synchronous Orbit, also known as Helio synchronous orbit, which It’s a polar orbit.

SGPC to set up international Sikh advisory board

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has decided to establish an international Sikh advisory board, which will have representatives from different countries.

This board will make efforts to resolve issues and grievances of Sikhs living in foreign countries and support local gurdwara management committees in preaching the Sikh faith.

He said in the past, the SGPC had started this process in Yuba City in the United States of America, which will be expedited and necessary action will be taken to establish sub-offices in other countries as well.

In Oct 2019 DGT launched an online Learning platform called the Bharatskills (https://bharatskills.gov.in ). It is a Central Digital Repository for skills, for the trainees and trainers of the ITI ecosystem, providing easy access to updated curriculum, e-books, Question Banks, mock/practice papers, learning Videos, etc., for courses under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS), Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) and the Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS), hence enabling anytime, anywhere learning outside the classrooms.

This platform also presents unique access to a centralized, scalable, and thriving support ecosystem through its industrial partners for the students and teachers who can now learn the new age (Industrial revolution 4.0) skills to meet the demands of the .

It will allow sharing of books, notes, videos, a question bank, etc., and other relevant skill-related content to interested learners.

This facility shall act as a digital warehouse for the skilling community as it will allow access to handwritten trainers or trainees notes, PDFs, scanned copies, or recorded videos in any preferred language.

7 PM MITRA Parks Approved By Government

The Cabinet has approved 7 PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (MITRA) Parks.

Highlights:

The MITRA parks will be set up costing Rs 4445 crores in five years.

The park was announced as a part of Union Budget 2021-22, which will help India stand at par with Global textile giants.

These MITRA Parks were established in greenfield or brownfield sites in different states.

This will also help with the EMPLOYMENT opportunities with 7 lakh direct jobs and 14 lakh indirect jobs.

Till now, states like Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and 5 more have shown interest in the establishment.

A Rs 500 crore Maximum Development Capital Support (DCS) will be provided to Greenfield PM MITRA.

Mihidana GI Tagged And Exported To Bahrain

The first shipment of Mihidana sweets was GI tagged and sent from West Bengal to Bahrain.

Highlights:

Mihidana, a sweet dish that originated from Bardhaman, West Bengal, was given the Geographical Index Tag (GI).

The shipment was exported to Aljazira Group and provided for tasting purposes to the consumers at Aljazira superstores in Bahrain.

More of the shipment will be exported during the Diwali festival.

The GI tag is a crucial sign used on products with a selected geographical origin and reputation.

It denotes the authenticity of not only the merchandise but the tactic during which it had been produced.

The GI tag is supposed to guard the truly unique traditions of communities against appropriating large industries and thus allow these regions economic prosperity by manufacturing, producing, and Marketing their lore.

International G-20 Conference – Highlights

The 13th International G-20 Conference was on 6 October.

Highlights:

The International G-20 Conference was attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman.

India is identifying the vacuum areas in international policy coordination within the backdrop of assuming the presidency in 2023.

Emerging market economies will have the presidency for G20 till 2025. India will have the presidency in 2023.

Heli Survey Technology was launched for ground water management.

In the first phase, the States of Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat and Haryana are being taken up for the heli-borne survey.

Survey was started from Jodhpur in Rajasthan on October 5.

This technology has been developed by CSIR-NGRI Hyderabad.

The state-of-the-art technology, Heli Survey Technology, will be used to map the groundwater sources in arid regions.

Survey will help in utilizing groundwater for drinking purposes.

Heli-borne geophysical mapping technique will provide high-resolution 3D image for sub-surface up to a depth of 500 meters below the ground level.

This project has been developed with the aim of mapping potential groundwater sources and its management in providing Safe drinking water to people in the water scarce arid regions of India.
