Andhra Pradeshhas submitted 16 Energy Efficiency financing projects to theUnion ministry of powerand stood first in the country in energy efficiency initiatives. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the Union ministry of power, lauded AP for its foresight in energy efficient measures at the two-day national summit which concluded in Goa.
Director general of BEE, advised all state designated agencies to finalise the state energy efficiency action plan (SEEAP) that includes sector-wise targets with short and long-term plans to achieve high impact in energy efficiency by the year 2030 as part of efforts to contribute to the Panchamrit (https://exam.pscnotes.com/Climate-change”>Climate Change targets of the country).
