All districts in Bihar asked to step up Covid testing

State registered three more Covid-19 cases on Monday. With this, the number of active cases has reached 44 in Bihar.

The three new cases were against 13565 samples tested in the last 24 hours across the state. Health department also held a meeting, to review the situation and issued special instructions to all the districts to beef up testing.

13565 samples tested, West Champaran had tested only 51, while Siwan had tested only 65 samples. Rohtas was the district with zero samples. Maximum 1972 samples were tested in Muzaffarpur, followed by Patna (1568) and Gopalganj (1149).
