A day after the Allahabad High Court slammed the state government commenting that healthcare services were Ram Bharose in Uttar Pradesh, government spokesman Shishir Kumar said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanaths primary thrust was not only to improve the states healthcare system but also to provide latest technology for treating patients.

In view of the increase in the number of patients due to rising road accidents in the state, beds were expanded in the trauma centers of Level-1. Considering the SGPGI and KGMU’s Trauma Center, the number of beds and ventilators has been increased. With the commitment to provide affordable and up-to-date medical facilities to the people of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has planned to construct a medical college in each of the 75 districts of UP.
