Tribal Affairs Ministry and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) jointly launched online certificate course on Experiential Learning. This programme will be deployed for 350 educators across 6 states.
Experiential learning seeks to help teachers establish tribal students connect with their real-life experiences and own contexts.
Though, the tribal students studying in EMRS are first generation learners. But creativity is inherent amongst them.
Creativity, risk-taking and enterprise are some of the attributes which naturally get unleashed in their life-cycle.
The programme will be of great service for the development of tribal education, which is having exponential impact on the way EMRS schools emerge as model schools in near future.
Ministry of coal has constituted a Cell, in line with the commitment of clean energy.
The Sustainable Development Cell was constituted in the backdrop of Prime Ministers announcement on new Climate targets at COP26 under Panchamrit Strategy.
Ministry emphasised on to put major thrust on Sustainable Development in coal mining, by taking care of the environmental and social impact of the mining.
Ministry of coal has established a full-fledged Sustainable Development Cell (SDC) to mentor, advice, and plan action of minimising adverse impact of mining.
It will also formulate future policy framework for environmental mitigation in Coal sector as well as Lignite sector in India.
Coal India Ltd. (CIL) and its subsidiaries along with NLC India Ltd., & Singareni Coal Company Ltd. (SCCL) has already started the extensive work.
