Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that many development projects are underway, out of which some are about to be completed soon. These development works will attract tourists from across the country and abroad towards Haryana.
The Chief Minister said that the birthplace of Gita, Kurukshetra is a confluence of faith and tourism. Recently, the ‘Virat Swaroop’ statue of Lord Krishna was unveiled in the holy pilgrimage Jyotisar. Shortly a 3D projection mapping show will also be set up at this place. Its work is almost completed. The show will be inaugurated in the coming days. The Chief Minister said that episodes related to Mahabharata and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita will be shown. For this, cutting-edge technology like Augmented Reality, Holographic Images, Robotics and Drones etc. will be used.
Khattar said that a Light and Sound show has been shown at Jyotisar shrine since 2019. Apart from this, the government has also built a Parikrama path of Jyotisar pilgrimage. Lighting work has also been done on the shrine and a wall has also been constructed to protect the ancient banyan tree. The Chief Minister said that Kurukshetra is the centre of spirituality, the government is working diligently on its development.
The Chief Minister said that a project worth Rs. 52 crores related to Adi Badri shrine located in Yamunanagar has been sent to the Tourism Department of the Central Government. In the next few days, the Central Government team will reach Adi Badri for evaluation. Apart from this, a project has been made for the restoration of the fort in Lohgarh, the capital of Bahadur Sikhs. Work is under process at this sight, he added.
