The Apsc CSE exam is one of the most prestigious and competitive exams in India. After the application form is submitted, the APSC will conduct a preliminary examination. The preliminary examination is a two-hour objective-type test consisting of 100 questions. The questions are based on General Studies, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. The qualifying marks for the preliminary examination are 50% for general candidates and 40% for reserved category candidates.

The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. The main examination is a three-day written examination consisting of papers on General Studies, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs, English, Optional Subject I, and Optional Subject II. The qualifying marks for the main examination are 40% for general candidates and 30% for reserved category candidates.

The candidates who qualify in the main examination will be called for the interview. The interview is a 30-minute interview conducted by a panel of experts. The interview is designed to assess the candidate’s Personality, Communication skills, and general awareness.

The final selection of candidates is based on the marks obtained in the preliminary examination, main examination, and interview. The candidates who are selected in the final selection list will be appointed to various Group A and Group B posts in the state government.

The APSC CSE exam is a very competitive exam and it is important to prepare well for it. The candidates should start preparing for the exam at least six months in advance.
