The exam is conducted twice a year, in the months of June and December.<\/p>\n<p>The eligibility criteria for the RBI Grade B exam are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years on or before the 1st of January of the year in which the examination is held. The upper age limit is 30 years for general category candidates, 28 years for reserved category candidates (SC\/ST\/OBC\/PWD) and 32 years for Ex-Servicemen.<\/li>\n<li>Educational qualification: The candidate must have a Bachelor&#8217;s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Work experience: The candidate must have at least 2 years of post-qualification work experience in any field.<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency: The candidate must be proficient in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The RBI Grade B exam is a two-stage exam. The first stage is the Preliminary Examination, which is a computer-based <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/test\">test<\/a>. The second stage is the Main Examination, which is a written examination. The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination are called for the Main Examination.<\/p>\n<p>The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is of 100 marks and Paper II is of 200 marks. The duration of each paper is 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Paper I consists of questions on General Awareness, Quantitative <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/aptitude\">Aptitude<\/a>, and Reasoning Ability. Paper II consists of questions on English Language, Economic and Social Issues, and Indian <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/polity-notes-for-state-psc-exams\">Polity<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/governance-notes-for-state-psc-exams\">Governance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Main Examination consists of four papers: Paper I, Paper II, Paper III, and Paper IV. Paper I is of 200 marks, Paper II is of 200 marks, Paper III is of 300 marks, and Paper IV is of 300 marks. Paper II consists of questions on Monetary Policy and <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/financial-markets\">Financial Markets<\/a>. Paper III consists of questions on <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/banking\">Banking<\/a> and Financial Institutions. Paper IV consists of questions on <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/data-interpretation\">Data Interpretation<\/a> and Analytical Ability.<\/p>\n<p>The RBI Grade B exam is a very competitive exam. The pass <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/percentage\">Percentage<\/a> in the Preliminary Examination is usually around 10%.
