Eligibility Test (TET) is a mandatory exam for aspiring teachers in the state of Meghalaya. It is conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) to assess the candidates&#8217; competency and eligibility to teach in government and private schools in the state. <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_Criteria_for_Meghalaya_TET_2024\"><\/span>Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya TET 2024<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nationality:<\/strong> Candidates must be Indian citizens.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Educational Qualification:<\/strong> Candidates must possess a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Age Limit:<\/strong> There is no upper age limit for appearing in the Meghalaya TET exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Exam_Pattern_for_Meghalaya_TET_2024\"><\/span>Exam Pattern for Meghalaya TET 2024<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Meghalaya TET exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Paper 1:<\/strong> For teachers who wish to teach classes 1 to 5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paper 2:<\/strong> For teachers who wish to teach classes 6 to 8.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exam Duration:<\/strong> Each paper is of 2 hours duration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Total Marks:<\/strong> Each paper carries a total of 150 marks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marking Scheme:<\/strong> Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
