Abul Fazl was the author of *Akbarnama*, a chronicle of Emperor Akbar’s reign, not Shah Jahan’s. Abdul Hamid Lahori was the principal author of the *Badshah Nama* during Shah Jahan’s reign, but he was the writer, not the person who gifted the manuscript to King George III much later.
