This is according to the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994. The Act states that a Sarpanch can be suspended if he\/she is found guilty of any of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Misconduct<\/li>\n<li>Negligence in the performance of his\/her duties<\/li>\n<li>Abusing his\/her position<\/li>\n<li>Failing to comply with any order or direction of the government<\/li>\n<li>Being convicted of an offence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If a Sarpanch is suspended, the Deputy Commissioner of the district will appoint an administrator to take charge of the Panchayat.
