Lalitaditya<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lalitaditya Muktapida was the founder of the Karkota dynasty, which ruled over the Kashmir region from the 8th to the 10th centuries CE. He was a powerful and successful ruler who expanded his kingdom to include much of the northwestern Indian subcontinent. He was also a patron of the arts and literature, and his reign was a time of great cultural and intellectual flourishing in Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>Durlabhavardhana was the son of Lalitaditya and succeeded him as king of Kashmir.
