The Chairman and members of the JKPSC shall be appointed by the Governor on the recommendation of a Selection Committee consisting of the Chief Minister, the Minister in charge of Personnel, Law and Justice and a person nominated by the Governor from amongst persons who are, or have been, Judges of the High Court.<\/p>\n<p>The term of office of the Chairman and members of the JKPSC shall be six years from the date on which they enter upon their office or until they attain the age of sixty-two years, whichever is earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The Chairman or any member of the JKPSC may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Governor, resign his office.
