It was located in the northern part of the empire, and its capital was Agra. The province included the modern-day Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.<\/p>\n<p>Tijara and Narnaul were two important towns in the Agra Province. Tijara was located on the banks of the Yamuna River, and it was a major center of trade. Narnaul was located in the Aravalli Hills, and it was a major center of agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>Akbar was the third Mughal emperor. He ruled from 1556 to 1605.
