Jahangir, the fourth Mughal ruler, ruled Jharkhand from 1605 to 1627.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a brief description of each Mughal ruler:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Babur<\/strong> (1483-1530) was the founder of the Mughal Empire in India. He was a descendant of Timur, the conqueror of Central Asia, and Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire. Babur was a skilled military leader and a poet. He invaded India in 1526 and defeated the Lodhi dynasty at the Battle of Panipat. He then went on to conquer most of northern India. Babur died in 1530 at the age of 47.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Humayun<\/strong> (1508-1556) was the second Mughal ruler. He was the son of Babur and succeeded him to the throne in 1530. Humayun was a weak ruler and was defeated by the Afghan Sher Shah Suri in 1540. He was forced to flee to Persia, where he lived in exile for 15 years. In 1555, Humayun returned to India and defeated Sher Shah Suri&#8217;s son, Islam Shah Suri. He ruled India for a short period of time before dying in an accident in 1556.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Akbar<\/strong> (1542-1605) was the third Mughal ruler. He was the son of Humayun and succeeded him to the throne in 1556. Akbar was a great military leader and a wise administrator. He expanded the Mughal Empire to its greatest extent and brought peace and stability to India. Akbar was also a tolerant ruler who promoted religious harmony. He died in 1605 at the age of 63.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jahangir<\/strong> (1569-1627) was the fourth Mughal ruler. He was the son of Akbar and succeeded him to the throne in 1605. Jahangir was a pleasure-loving ruler who was more interested in art and music than in politics. He was also a heavy drinker and opium addict.
