He was a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) and served as the Chief Minister of Haryana for three terms. He was also the Governor of Punjab and Rajasthan.<\/p>\n<p>Bansi Lal was born in 1913 in the village of Dhani Khurd in the Rohtak district of Haryana.
