He captured many forts and towns and liberated many Hindus from Mughal oppression.<\/p>\n<p>Banda Singh Bahadur was finally defeated by the Mughals in the year 1710. He was captured and executed by the Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar. However, his legacy lives on.
