P. C. B. Menon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P. C. B. Menon was the first Chief Justice of Goa. He was appointed to the position on December 19, 1961, after Goa was liberated from Portuguese rule. He served as Chief Justice until his retirement in 1966.<\/p>\n<p>Menon was born in 1908 in Kerala, India. He studied law at the University of Madras and was called to the bar in 1931. He practiced law in Kerala for several years before joining the Indian Civil Service in 1937.
