TADA was an act of the Parliament of India enacted in 1985 to deal with terrorism and disruptive activities. It was repealed in 1995.<\/p>\n<p>TADA was a controversial law, with many critics arguing that it was too broad and gave the government too much power. However, the law was also successful in bringing some high-profile terrorists to justice, including Sanjay Dutt.<\/p>\n<p>Dutt was accused of possessing illegal arms and ammunition that were linked to the 1993 Mumbai bombings.
